Historic Figurines by Les Etains du Graal - Crusader kneeling

Pope Urbain II called all Christians to free Jerusalem in 1095.
The first crusade occured between 1096 and 1099.
It wasn't until the XIII century that the word "crusade" was coined.
In medieval texts, is was the crusaders who were most often depicted as "travellers to Jerusalem" or even "pilgrims"

Here the crusasder is kneeling in his knightly garments.
This figurine is absolutely magnificent.
Notice that he hasn't disguarded his shield, he placed it up before the Celtic cross (sold separately) where he kneels in prayer.
