Legendary figurines by Les Etains du Graal - Bohort with chair
Set piece for the round table by Les étains du graal.
Bohort is one of the 3 knights of the round table to follow the quest for the grail, with Perceval and Galahad, but he was the only one to return alive.
He shares his father's name, Bohort king of Gaunes and is nephew of king Ban de Bénoïc.
Bohort is cousin to sir Lancelot and to Hector de Maris.
We can also see him referred to as "Bohort the Exiled" which has the sense of devastation, ravaged or havoc.
Bohort has the reputation of being one of the best knights of the round table. He joined Lancelot in exile soon after Lancelot betrayed the secret of his liaison with Guinevere.
Here, sir Bohort points his sword honouring his allegience to the round table.
Better than a simple replica, The Etains du Graal have genuinely achieved an exquisite piece of work with Bohort.
His finely decorated tunic, his chain mail and his helmet are phenominal and just look at the expression on his face?!!
The knights' chairs are beautifully simple and this is so charming.
A reinforced pin under one foot allows the piece to be fixed in its allotted space at the round table.
